It is dramatic. Amazing. Miraculous.
It's also scary and sweet, hormonal and hungry, exciting and exhausting all at the same time. It is a really, really, REALLY big deal, and you are amazing for doing it.
We live in a culture that says your body should look and act a certain way. Having a baby is the fastest way to send your body sideways, and yet, think about what you are doing. You are creating an entirely new human, a person who will change the world in their own way. You are changing the direction of the universe. No wonder you are so tired!
I want you to see how phenomenal you are. I want you to look back on your pregnancy and think "Holy cow! I was GORGEOUS!" Because you are stunningly beautiful right in this moment.
So it's okay that you maybe feel awkward. I am here to help.

Scheduling
Your personalized session may be done any time, although most clients schedule theirs between 30 and 36 weeks.
Planning
We'll talk by phone to discuss details, answer your questions, and then schedule an in-person consultation to plan your personalized portrait experience. Is your schedule crazy busy? Just let me know you would prefer to design your session online.
Wardrobe
We want you to feel pampered, relaxed, and beautiful! Come as you are. We offer an assortment of elegant maternity gowns in multiple sizes, scarves, and draping fabrics in colors and textures from vibrant to subtle so we can perfectly highlight your unique personality.
Hair & Makeup
We are happy to schedule a hair and makeup session with one of our professionals as part of your exclusive portrait experience, for an additional fee.
Location
Maternity sessions are done in a private studio setting. My discreet female assistants are available to help with your every need.
Partners & Children
Of course, you can include the people you love in your maternity session. We photograph you with your partner and children first, then send them away to play so you can have quiet privacy for your portion of the session. We want you to relax because this is about you!
Have a cherished pet? We are happy to include them as well. Just give us a heads up so we have plenty of treats.
