Yay! Dog and cat pictures!
Meet the Team
I am a pet lover. I have always had dogs and cats running around and I love the chaos of big dogs and chonky cats. I currently have two dogs and two cats.
Moose is a five year old brindled hound mix adopted from a shelter in West Tennessee. He is almost 100 pounds, but thinks he is a lap dog. He loves hunting bubbles, barking at cows and eating.
Maisie Jane is my newest pupper. She is a one year old boxer mix and was adopted from Proverbs 12:10 Pet Rescue. She is sweet and silly and snuggly. She is a lightweight around here at 58 pounds, but she certainly holds her own with Moose.
Fagin the tuxedo kitty is my old guy at almost 17 years old. He was a feral barn kitten when I got him at my neighborhood veggie stand. Several weeks and a lot of tuna later, Fagin decided that I might be okay. He and his brother Dodger were my barn cats until I moved them inside permanently at age three. Sadly, Dodger is no longer with us, but Fagin continues living the good life and still enjoys a lot of tuna treats.
Guster was one of four kittens born in my front bedroom to a stray someone dumped. I found homes for mama kitty and two of the kittens, but Gus and his brother Ivan ended up staying. Gus was pretty quiet until his brother passed away unexpectedly. Now he is chatty and pushy and very opinionated about everything that goes on in this house. His favorite thing is to stand on my editing desk and block the monitors with his chonky 18 pound self.
The bonus closeup of the brown dog is a picture of my Mowbray, the Best Dog Ever. Mowbray died last summer after a 9 month battle with cancer. He was the Very Best Dog and is very missed.
